Summary of the Opportunity:

As a Sales Support Specialist you will be the internal coordinator of the RBI Solar Sales Team and take on a 'wear many hats' role as you learn the sales function and the industry that we serve.

In a typical day you might: Talk with current or prospective customers through phone and/or email, work with outside Sales Team on presentations, report, data, respond to questions, work to get projects handed off to internal teams during the take-off stage, provide a high level of internal support to the Outside Sales Reps.

The Sales Support Team is unique in its internal/external facing position, and it is critical that we strive to provide the highest level of service to our external customers and also within the internal organization in order to make sure our projects are successful. 

What a Typical Week Looks Like:

  • Act as the main internal point of contact for Sales-related inquiries
  • Report-out status of projects at the sales stage or 'in the pipeline'
  • Coordinate the preparation of Sales Proposals and Presentations
  • Filter and forward on qualified leads to assigned Sales Representatives
  • Serve as the liaison between internal departments, the Sales Representative, and the customer
  • Support Sales Representatives on preparing information or coordinating details related to presentations, customer visits
  • Respond to customer questions and requests

In order to be successful, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • preferable 1+ years in an administrative sales support role 
  • Detail-oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
