Position Overview

The Sales Support Specialist acts as the internal coordinator of the RBI Solar Sales Team and supports various activities of the sales function including: managing contact with prospective and current customers, maintaining sales data, compiling information, and other administrative functions as assigned.

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate the preparation of neccesary information for RFIs, RFPs, letters, proposals, and presentations in conjunction with Sales Representatives
  • Act as the main internal point of contact for Sales-related inquiries from internal departments
  • Effectively track and manage status of projects at the sales stage or 'in the pipeline'
  • Ability to prepare information, monitor, and report on the status of open projects
  • Filter and forward on qualified leads to assigned Sales Representatives
  • Serve as the liasion between internal departments, the Sales Representative, and the customer
  • Understand the function of each internal department and their relation to Sales
  • Support Sales Representatives on preparing information or coordinating details related to presentations, customer visits
  • Respond to customer questions and requests

In order to be successful, you will need:

Bachelor's Degree

Business Administration or related field 

1+ years in a sales support or similar role 

Detail oriented

Proficient in Microsoft Suite
